The King of Pop Stamps is U.S. postage stamps that highlight Michael Jackson's legendary era. This creation was inspired because of my love for MJ as he is my favorite singer and dancer. Overall, the stamps were created in Adobe Photoshop.
I've chosen four of Michael Jackson's iconic dance moves (Anti-gravity lean and the toe stand) and hits (Thriller, Bad, Smooth Criminal, and Dirty Diana). I've chosen gold, dark blue, black, and red because those are the colors that resonate with the clothing that he generally wears. All of the figures in the stamps were created by me in Adobe Illustrator.
The background shows MJ's face, hand movements, and the iconic moonwalk. I've chosen gold and white for the typeface because the gold represents MJ's value as the "King of Pop", while the white resonates with the background. The star background symbolizes how his dance moves are like magic.
